The old course is consistently rated amongst the top ten courses in the world while the new Cashen Course is thought to be even more demanding. In 2005 Ballybunion was ranked by Golf Digest as the seventh best course in the world outside the United States.
- Waterville Golf Club
Situated on the Ring of Kerry, Waterville is rated among the top 5 courses in Ireland and the top 20 links courses in the world. The links golf combines sand dunes gorse and native grasses, firm fairways, sod faced bunkers and subtle putting surfaces all intertwined by the ever changing weather
- Tralee Golf club
Situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with its rolling waves Tralee Golf course is a joy to behold. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the course has a view of the sea from every hole. The early holes can easily give you the feeling that mastering the course is well within your grasp. However when you have completed the back nine and reached the comfort of the nineteenth you will know that you have played one of the most magnificent links courses in the world.
